About Mimi's
Harley joined our family at nine weeks old. He is sweet, lively and loves to chase rubber balls. He would rather chase a ball than eat. He loves all of Mimi’s Pup Cakes but the “Peanut Buster” is still his favorite.
Trudy arrived rather unexpectedly. She was our first foster with Lost Angels Animal Rescue. We flunked Foster 101 because we kept her. We wanted to help Lost Angels so now that we have a bakery, we contribute a portion of the profits to this wonderful organization. Trudy’s favorite thing in the world is to eat. She also tests the cookies. She likes them all!
Two weeks after Trudy joined our family, we were at a “Paws in the Park” event. When we saw Missy it was love at first sight. Naturally we brought home our third dog. She fit right in with her sister and brother. They all love to rough house and chase squirrels.
The commercial dog treats contain hard to pronounce and hard to understand ingredients, so we did some research and discovered that most of the “junk” in these treats were, at best, unhealthy. Some of the preservatives could actually be carcinogenic. We decided to make our own treats. Harley is our number one tester because he is finicky. Trudy and Missy like them all. We gave our friends and relatives samples and the dogs loved them so much that the humans asked for more. Thus began our family adventure into the dog bakery business. We are in business now because of our furry family members.
